$4,550 Christopher Charles Owan Memorial Scholarship

The Christopher Charles Owan Memorial Scholarship was created in honor of Christopher Charles Owan, a beloved son and brother who was on the verge of completing his civil engineering degree at Arizona State University when his life was profoundly affected by mental illness.

This scholarship aims to provide financial support to undergraduate students in Arizona who have either personally faced mental health challenges or are committed to making a difference in the field of mental health.

Two awards will be granted—one to a student who has personally struggled with mental illness and another to a student who is actively championing mental health advocacy.

Who Can Apply?

• Must be an undergraduate student in Arizona
• Must have experienced mental illness or be pursuing a career in mental health
